After creating mist and dust, God decides to make a man from the dust, seen in Genesis 2:7. A living thing coming from a non-living thing is technically abiogenesis. Of course, the authors of the bible had no conception of modern concept of abiogenesis, I'm just drawing a parallel. I find it curious that God would mold people from dirt rather than make them out of nothingness like he supposedly did with the universe.
