Thank you all so much for reading the comic! Some of you have been here since day one, some of you just arrived, and some of you are still reading The Katzenjammer Kids. Either way, I appreciate you all! Except those that are still reading The Katzenjammer Kids. Donít forget to vote for this comic by clicking that blue button just above. You can vote once a day, every day. I wonít tell you that you should vote every day, but if you donít, God shall smite thee!

Because reading the bible is a very draining and disheartening experience, Iím going to take a few months off. Iíll start on Leviticus sometime in September; I may add a few guest comics in the interim, so stop by from time to time. If youíd like to illustrate your favorite (i.e., most hated) passage, get in touch with me (thealmightyguru@gmail.com) and Iíll put the spotlight on you.

Also, while I truly love the lurkers, itís those of you who comment that really encourage me to keep me doing this! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I hope it is levitation lessons, that should be very practical... ;)

The really hate filled part of this good book!

Baughbe writes:

As the old song goes: I'll see you in September. So don't you go and start any summer romance with some trashy beach comic now!

Allanon6666 writes:

Lookin forward to when you start back up, though I can't blame you for wanting a break.

Stuff to watch! writes:

Now that the comic is on break, I'll post some links for any atheists reading this to enjoy and fill hours of time.

A deep and moving series about a mans deconversion from religion and insight into how God just doesn't work.

A wikipedia that covers everything from proof of evolution, to Fred Phelps and all the many creationist idiots.

A list of people, both creationist and rationalists that pump out some insane(for the creationists) and amazing videos, it will eat away hours of your time.

@Stuff: I'm Pantheist, not just rationalist-Atheist. I play that card but I can go beyond pure reason too. What I do not like at all is what I call idolatry, very specially the idolatry of words/books of "revealed religions".

Samael writes:

I hover somewhere around dualist pantheism myself.

Symphony of science, it will consume the interests of thoses into science.

Richard writes:

Pure atheist here. Imagination is awesome, but reality is even more so. Mixing the two without good reason only gives you delusion.

Maju writes:

@Richard: it's not just imagination but emotion (and sometimes drugs too), they call it mysticism.

@Samael: what do you mean by dualist: gender dualist as in ying-yang, lingam-yoni or Manichean dualist as in yaveh-satan, ahura mazda-ahriman, osiris-seth?

Maju writes:

@Symphony: too techno for me. Carl Sagan was a great mystic though (and he used cannabis, mind you - you can feel that "shamanic force" in most of his work).

Ladyofthemasque writes:

...Razzlefrazzit! I am so used to checking this comic daily on a weekday that...grrrr.

Okay, everybody! Go through the archives all the way from the beginning, one page a day, until September shows up!

(...oh, who are we kidding, we'll snarf them all up at once!)

Samael writes:

Maju: Dualism in this context refers to the belief in both material and spiritual matter, although I tend to think of the spirit as a body's bioelectromagnetic signature or something similar.

TheFirstHand writes:

A few months off?!? Oh no. Don't tell me I'm going to have to actually start reading this tripe to know how it ends!

Thanks, TAG! You've done a terrific job so far and I look forward to it continuing. Enjoy your vacation and find something more believable to spend your time reading.

Richard writes:

I genuinely chuckled, TheFirstHand.

Allanon6666 writes:

It's been too quite here. How is everyone? Or does no one come here anymore?

Baughbe writes:

We're all waiting for September.....

Allanon6666 writes:

I figured as much.

Richard writes:

I come here every day... then click on the links to other comics in the sidebar to tide me over.

Allanon6666 writes:

Yeah, he's got some good comics linked in the side bar. I love xkcd and Cyanide and Happiness.

TheAlmightyGuru writes:

I've been known to frequent here myself!

Baughbe writes:

But what is the frequency of Kenneth?

Ladyofthemasque writes:

I'll be at WorldCon this week...but when I get back after Labor Day...there will be updates! Oh yesssss, there WILL be updatesss...

Richard writes:

YAY CRAP!

Ladyofthemasque writes:

The 17th? *whimper*

Larqua writes:

Eagerly looking forward to the continuation!

New comic tomorrow!!!

Richard writes:

*checks*

Damn, it is not tomorrow yet.

Dixieland Delight writes:

9 more minutes until tomorrow!

Ladyofthemasque writes:

That's presuming TAG's in your timezone. Somehow, I think not.

*whimper*

TheFirstHand writes:

Hey, what's with those extra arrows? Hmmm. I vaguely remember something about them. They're important in some way. Maybe I should click on one of them and see what happens.

Welcome back, TAG!

Oh the irony!
